Steps to Purchase Your New Horizon Home

  1. Complete a loan pre qualification interview with a loan officer to determine your loan approval "buying power" and your personal monthly payment comfort level. Your Horizon Homes representative can suggest local mortgage lenders familiar with the new construction process. This first step is the foundation for realistic home planning. If you have a home to sell ask about our Super $$$$ Saver Package!
  2. Working with your rep chose a home style (Two Story, Multilevel, Ranch, etc) to suit your taste and needs. Take this opportunity to view Horizon Homes "spec" inventory, those homes already under construction, one might be just what you were looking for! This will also help you determine your needs and give you ideas to customize your plan. Model Home in Titan Springs open Mon-Thur 12-6 and Sat-Sun 12-5. 402-657-5357.
  3. Horizon Homes has standard plans designed with many amenities proven to be favorites among our homeowners. The sales staff each have over 30 years of experience customizing plans to fit the needs of their clients. Custom changes to standard plans can be made. You and your sales rep will compile a list for bidding.
  4. Horizon Homes offers a custom design service at NO cost to the buyer. Your sales rep will work with you to design a home you will enjoy for years to come. This process requires more time and you will be meeting with your sales rep for updates. You can choose to add options, make design changes, etc. during this process. You and your sales rep will compile a list for bidding. Private appointments are welcome!
  5. Choose a building site to meet your needs. Not all sites will accept every style. Many lots are available throughout the Metro area. We have access to many areas!
  6. The purchase price will include the price of the lot AND the home. The builder will have already bought the lot or will buy the lot. See Tony if you already have purchased your building lot. At this time a purchase agreement packet will be put together, this will include addendums specifying the custom changes you desire. Tony will include information on the HBW 10 year warranty, the subdivision information provided by a title company, and all necessary paperwork needed for your loan if applicable.   7. You will be asked to make color selections for the exterior, this will be done at the model home. Interior selections are made at select Horizon Homes suppliers!
  8. During the construction process you may visit the new home site, but be cautious, it is a "hard hat" area. Changes can be made during construction if feasible to the builders schedule. Watch your Dream "Green" Home step by step!
